Description
V-Guard TRU-HOT 250 PRO is an evacuated tube collector (ETC) solar water heater with a 250 litres per day capacity. It is designed for bathing and washing applications and is specified for households of about 6 to 7 persons. The system uses 20 ETC tubes of size 5.8 x 210 cm and works on thermosyphon circulation, with water output temperature specified as up to 40°C rise from ambient temperature. The storage tank uses an MS glass-lined inner tank with high-density PUF insulation, magnesium anode protection, and off-white PPGI outer cladding. An optional 2 kW backup heater with thermostat is specified for this model, and the support structure is a black powder-coated roll form stand for long life.
